Learn how to prepare for an interview by dressing appropriately, knowing when to arrive, knowing what employers look for, and learn common mistakes job seekers make in an interview. Sample interview questions and exercises will be given. Learn how to decipher classified advertisements, structure responses, negotiate salary and compensation, and follow up after the interview is over.

Interviewing Skills is a course designed to prepare students to answer questions typically asked during interviews for professional/technical roles. The course will cover strategies for creating an effective resume package needed to land that first interview. The course is an online workshop where students have the opportunity to practice answering interview questions. At the end of the course, students will have an opportunity to submit a personal resume for objective review.
