Gardening school training courses in El Paso, TX (public, in-house or online)

This course is designed to teach seniors in containerized
gardening for the home. Students will cultivate a variety
of interior plants from preparing the soil to plant the
seed, watering, and growing healthy plants.

You will learn techniques and information about
improving your soil, controlling insects and diseases,
pruning, xeriscaping, and plant selection. These
techniques will help you improve your gardening
efforts in El Paso’s climate. Course is taught by master
gardeners.

This course is a four hour module designed for the professional landscaper or caring homeowner. The course will teach participants how to reinvent the way traditional landscaping has been done. Most landscaping processes are anti-green, but this course provides tremendous insight into lawn care, weed control, fertilizer, and irrigation. Topics such as prairie reversion, green roofs, and phyto-remediation make this course very insightful.
