The Experienced Motorcycle Operator Training Course
provides experienced motorcyclists with additional
skills and knowledge found to be lacking in accidents
involving motorcycles. This course consists of 6 hours of
hands-on training on the riding range.
Prerequisites:
1. The rider must have a valid driver’s license for a

Learn the basic motorcycle skills necessary to safely
enjoy this sport. The Texas Department of Public Safety
approved this 16-hour course, which includes classroom
instruction and training on the motorcycle. Motorcycles
and helmets are furnished without additional charge.

Presents the laws, rules, attitudes, and techniques
required to be a safe driver, including theory of driving
and hands-on experience in the techniques required in
today’s traffic. Driving phase will be scheduled at class

information, intersections, curve and curves and hills,
