Upon completion of the Diesel Mechanic program,
students will be able to service heavy equipment
such as buses and trucks. Many modern shops
require diesel mechanics to use hand-held
computers to diagnose problems and adjust
engine functions. Topics include: Electrical and
Electronics, Steering and Suspension, HVAC,
Diesel Engines, and Air Brakes

Program length: 14 months daytime; 22 months evenings
This course is approximately 50 percent classroom training and 50 percent hands-on training.
