Introduces seniors to popular and traditional nopartner
line dancing. Dances include country, Latin,
and contemporary rhythm to encourage older adults to
exercise and have fun at the same time!

Seniors learn Latin dance techniques on the dance floor
by using popular Latin rhythms and adding smooth
body movement, steps, and displaying choreographed
performances. Partners are recommended, but not
required

This course is designed to introduce ballroom dance
techniques and essential steps to dancing the Waltz,
Fox Trot, Rhumba, and Jitterbug for the purpose
of maintaining the body active and healthy. Dance
routines learned in this course may be used for
performances.

Do you enjoy country and western music! Coca Cola
Stomp, Electric Slide #2, God Bless Texas, Macarena, and
Texas (Dallas) Stomp are just a few dance steps that will
be introduced. Please wear tennis shoes.
