This course must be taken concurrently with
Phlebotomy Technician Theory. Student will
demonstrate venous and capillary blood drawing
techniques and procedures relevant to the professional
development of the student. Students will be required to
travel to the various clinical-affiliated sites.

Clinical component to Re-Entry Nursing Update. To
meet the learning objectives, students are assigned to
a trained preceptor in a local healthcare facility. The
student will perform patient care under the guidance
of the preceptor and working with the preceptor’s
schedule. Student needs to successfully complete
72-hours in a clinical preceptorship. The program
coordinator will have the student work in the facility for
the clinical.
