This language class is designed for students with no prior experience in Italian language. Its concentration is on the rudiments of the Italian language (pronunciation, basic grammar and communicative functions) to allow students to develop the basic language skills and foundation for conversation.

Italian is one of the Romance languages. It resembles Latin in terms of vocabulary and is Italian is also written using the Latin alphabet. It has a distinctive stress and retains the contrast between short and long consonants which was present in Latin. The Italian course will teach you the basic rules, words, grammars and help you speak Italian fast and fluently.
