Exploration of water-based media—gouache, tempera, inks and acrylic. Emphasis is placed on transparent water color concepts and techniques.

Techniques of water media will be demonstrated including wet into wet, dry brush, creating texture, glazing and collage. Techniques will then be applied to color and design theory information.

Learn traditional watercolor techniques including various washes, glazes, scumbles, resists, and more, and discover how to make the techniques part of your personal painting style.
