Coordinated lecture and laboratory experience in the fundamentals of investigation, techniques of crime scene recording and search, collection and preservation of evidence, modus operandi, follow up and case preparation.

gives students a solid foundation in computer forensics. It guides students toward becoming skilled computer forensics investigators and helps students pass appropriate certification exams. Various operating systems and computer hardware are covered, along with several computer forensics software tools. Students learn how to record a crime scene, how to properly secure the evidence, and how to evaluate and document a case.
