French school training courses in Dearborn, MI (public, in-house or online)

The College offers four-semester sequences in three European languages, French, German, and Spanish,
as well as a two-semester sequence in Modern Standard Arabic and Italian. Beginning classes are
designed for students with no previous experience. All courses develop not only the students? abilities with
oral and written language but also their understanding of a foreign culture. Textbook-based written
assignments and exercises are supplemented by in-class oral practice.

This course begins a sequence of three courses (XL 4, XL 5, XL 6) covering the second year of college-level French. Excerpts from French literature serve as a basis for discussion. Instruction includes a review of advanced grammar.
