Aviation school training courses in Dayton, OH (public, in-house or online)

is Offered as an elective to fulltime ERLI students who are interested in increasing their general knowledge of aviation-related topics while focusing on improving their English skills. This elective class is taken in place of the general English elective that is offered to fulltime ERLI students who are enrolled in our basic English curriculum for academic purposes. Aviation English instructors have an aviation background.

The Applied Aviation Sciences Department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Science which is based on the needs of the marketplace. It combines a solid core designed to meet the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) standards and the University’s General Education requirements. With a complete offering of Safety Science courses through two areas of concentration (AOCs), students can prepare to work in the aerospace industry as well as in non-aerospace industries.

Designed for the pilot who wishes to obtain Commercial License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings. The student will also be trained to receive the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Ratings (CFII).
