It provides developers with an overview of how to compile, edit, debug, and analyze performance with Sun Studio. Developers will be able to use performance analyzer features and increase productivity using Sun Studio.

The Solaris 10 Security course provides students with instruction about identifying authentication and security changes found in Solaris 10 including changes to password checking, features of least privilege, SCF, hardware acceleration for Internet Key Exchange (IKE) and IP filter firewall.

The Network Administration for the Solaris 10 Operating System course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, create, administer, and troubleshoot a local area network (LAN). Students will learn about networking, configuration, and troubleshooting as well as Internet Protocol (IP) routing, Domain Name Service (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration (DHCP), and the Solaris IP Filter firewall.

The Sun Certified System Administrator I for Solaris 9 Operating System, Part I exam is geared towards those candidates with a minimum of six months experience working as a system administrator.
