The CDL-B Truck Driver Training program is designed to prepare students for the Indiana CDL examination. Ivy Tech is partnered with SAGE Technical Schools to provide CDL training based on the renowned curriculum of the Professional Truck Drivers Institute (PTDI).This curriculum will act as the basis for national standards and rules for truck driver training schools. Driving time includes 24 hours of over-the-road and range instruction, utilizing a one-on-one delivery.

Providing information for safe operation of powered industrial trucks, this course precedes the on-the-job evaluation necessary to comply with 29CFR 1910.178(l).

The ATS truck driving program is designed to teach an individual the fundamentals of tractor trailer driving and to prepare the student for the Class-A Commercial Driver License (CDL) road test.
