PIN code provided for this course allows unlimited on-line access for 90 days. This course takes the student through the process of creating and delivering a successful presentation. The topic, audience analysis, and researching are covered first, with an emphasis on the audience. The next area discussed is writing and designing slides. Students also learn how to add visual effects, as well as how to prepare and deliver a presentation.

This course will focus on the area of presentation skills for librarians. Students will learn how their organization and presentation of information, as well as presentation of themselves, affect the audience�receptiveness. Although venues for communicating are quite different ?traditional face-to-face workshops, self-paced courses and full-time interactive web-based courses ?the basic presentation skills still apply.
