The Site Layouts, Footings and Foundation program prepares students for careers in the carpentry industry. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Emphasis is placed on a combination of carpentry theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.

Exams: Multiple Choice, open-book exam based on job tasks. A time limit is imposed. Exam requirements vary based on Level desired.
Work History: Provide sufficient appropriate work experience
Performance Verification: Supervisor verification of job task competency.
Recommendation: A personal recommendation is required at Levels III and IV.

This course teaches students the structure of an animated feature film while placing emphasis on the development of layout design, value, and structure. Perspective principles will also be covered. The goal of the course is to teach students the size and structure of an animation film production unit.

The elements of layout and design play many different roles in communication. You will be shown how designers use layout and design to convey information and concepts. Chuck walks you through grids, and gives you examples of various systems. You will be shown how to design a workable grid.
