Certificates are sequences of technical and professional courses. They provide access to targeted, short-term workforce training, and completers may sit for specific certification exams. Courses in certificate programs also apply toward technical certificates and associate degree programs in the subject area.

The CDL-B Truck Driver Training program is designed to prepare students for the Indiana CDL examination. Ivy Tech is partnered with SAGE Technical Schools to provide CDL training based on the renowned curriculum of the Professional Truck Drivers Institute (PTDI).This curriculum will act as the basis for national standards and rules for truck driver training schools. Driving time includes 24 hours of over-the-road and range instruction, utilizing a one-on-one delivery.

Providing information for safe operation of powered industrial trucks, this course precedes the on-the-job evaluation necessary to comply with 29CFR 1910.178(l).

The ATS truck driving program is designed to teach an individual the fundamentals of tractor trailer driving and to prepare the student for the Class-A Commercial Driver License (CDL) road test. The Mobile Crane Operations Program is a comprehensive, industry developed, and nationally recognized program accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). This program is formatted into three levels and is scheduled Monday through Friday for three weeks. Graduates of this program will receive a national certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
