CDL-B Commercial Drivers License Truck Driver School: Ivy Tech Community College Venue: Anderson, Bloomington, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Madison, Nashville, Richmond Tel.: 888-IVY-LINE The CDL-B Truck Driver Training program is designed to prepare students for the Indiana CDL examination. Ivy Tech is partnered with SAGE Technical Schools to provide CDL training based on the renowned curriculum of the Professional Truck Drivers Institute (PTDI).This curriculum will act as the basis for national standards and rules for truck driver training schools. Driving time includes 24 hours of over-the-road and range instruction, utilizing a one-on-one delivery. |
CDL Class A TTD 40 Refresher Format: On-site School: Ivy Tech Community College Venue: Anderson, Bloomington, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Madison, Nashville, Richmond Tel.: 888-IVY-LINE This is refresher training for students that already have a class A license but either have not used it within a year OR they have less than 1 year of documented driving experience. This program DOES NOT include a road test or permit fees because the student is required to already have a Class A license. The student MUST have a DOT physical and a drug screening to be permitted into a SAGE truck. |

CDL Class A TTD 80 Advance Format: On-site School: Ivy Tech Community College Venue: Anderson, Bloomington, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Madison, Nashville, Richmond Tel.: 888-IVY-LINE This program is designed for students with some truck driving experience, such as class B driving but this program will not usually meet the standards for regional/over the road employment with major carriers. Smaller carriers will often accept the advanced program. Students coming into the 80 hour usually will not have a CDL-A but need to have the class A permit fees must be collected for drug screening and DOT physical.
