This MRI program is designed for credentialed technologists and provides the didactic and clinical experience components need for magnetic resonance imaging. This program is designed for working professional, medical imaging technologists and as such, courses are offered in the evenings and weekends. Flexibility is provided for scheduling clinical experience in order to meet the needs of working adults.

The radiographer will review essential information on the biological effects of ionizing radiation, radiation protection to ensure the safe use of x-rays in diagnostic imaging, radiation physics, regulatory and advisory limits for human exposure to radiation, and implementation of patient and personnel radiation protection practices.
