Tri-C is the first community college in Northeast Ohio to offer an associate’s degree in Massage Therapy. The degree program can now be completed in 16 months (4 semesters). Students will be eligible to sit for the medical board licensure exam and national exam before graduating with a degree. Students graduating with the AAS degree in Massage Therapy will also receive the Short-Term Advanced Massage Therapy Certificate.

Graduates will be prepared to enter the field of Massage Therapy as entry-level therapists in a variety of professional work settings. After successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to take the certification exam offered by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). Graduates will also be eligible for membership in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
