This program provides basic training in the fundamental skills of GAS, ARC, MIG, and TIG welding with hands-on training in our brand new Lincoln Electric equipped welding facilty.

Prerequisites
Good vision and manual dexterity.

Students gain a limited edition, production and industrial manufacturing techniques, while expressing fashion jewelry concerns. The techniques covered include soldering, fabrication, stone setting, texturing, patination and casting. Students are encouraged to develop thematically related series.

The course follows a step-by-step approach to the development and manufacturing cycle of a printed circuit board. After an overview of standards and existing technology, the course discusses the various engineering functions involved in PCB design and manufacturing. Specific issues are addressed in the areas of manufacturing and assembly, before moving on to PCB testing and quality assurance.
