This course focuses on the operations of a travel agency and examines the unique needs of the corporate traveler. In addition, students are presented with an overview of the meeting planning/convention management industry.

This course teaches the principles of effective front and back office management. Emphasis is placed on the reservation, check-in/check-out procedures, and customer service. Accounting functions and administrative procedures are also reviewed. Students complete a computerized front office simulation.

The certificate program in Operations Research is suitable for students preparing for a career in industrial mathematics, statistics, business or economics. Courses are taught by the faculty of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. All courses are for credit and can be transferred into the major in Statistics once a student is admitted into an undergraduate degree-seeking program.

This one week (30 hours) course is designed to meet OSHA requirements by providing students with the necessary training to become a safe and effective Fork Lift Operator. Students will receive training in vehicle inspection, operation, maintenance and safe operations.
