Nursing Assistant school training courses in Chicago, IL (public, in-house or online)

This is a 10-week (day) or 12-week (evening) program, which provides the participant with the training necessary to take the Illinois State competency exam to become certified as a Nurse Assistant. Training includes classroom and laboratory instruction and clinical experience within a hospital or nursing home which qualifies the participant for both home and institutional employment.

State-approved Basic Nursing Assistant (CNA) program provides instruction on the basic nursing skills needed to assist the professional nurse. Basic nursing skills are presented with an emphasis on applying concepts and principles of nursing care for the geriatric client in a variety of settings. The program includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
