Tai Chi has long been practiced for its many healthy benefits. It has been shown to improve strength, balance, coordination, and circulation. Participants have used Tai Chi as part of their treatment for arthritis, joint stiffness, hypertension, and diabetes. This beginner’s course will provide an introduction to the healthy experience of Tai Chi.

Health Information Technology (Health IT, or HIT) allows comprehensive management of medical information and its secure exchange between health care consumers and providers. Course content will cover accident, sickness, and health related topics, and the North Carolina statutes and regulations pertinent to accidents and health.
