This instructor-led course will provide students with an understanding of how to design a Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure that meets business and technical requirements for network services.

This instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Sever 2008 network infrastructure. Students will learn to implement and configure secure network access and implement fault tolerant storage technologies. Students will gain an understanding of the network technologies most commonly used with Windows Server 2008 and IP-enabled networks. Students will also learn how to secure servers and maintain update compliance.

This instructor-led course introduces students to network and applications infrastructure concepts and configurations provided by Window Server 2008. Students will be able to acquire a fundamental understanding in order to pursue advanced topics available for certification in the network and applications infrastructure areas.

In this course, you will learn how to implement an enterprise Data Center routing and switching infrastructure with the next-generation Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, and 2000 platforms. The class focuses on the Nexus 7000 and includes an overview of the Nexus 5000, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and the Nexus 2000 Fabric Extender.
