Save money by doing your own simple plumbing! In this unit we will study water and gas systems, beginning with specific piping, valving, and related materials and ending with drains and faucets. $5 materials fee payable to the instructor at first class.

The Plumbing Course is comprised of 14 comprehensive lessons. They are easy to follow, yet challenging and stimulating at the same time. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, an introductory note from your instructor and a vocabulary builder of new words and terms.

Next comes the reading assignment. Practice exercises help you check and review what you’ve learned. At the end of the lesson is an open-book exam, which you may take online.

The Plumbing Technology program prepares the student to begin a career in plumbing and pipe fitting. Coursework provides the student with technical understanding, skills development and integrates theory with practical experience. Through the plumbing program, the student develops skills in piping techniques and procedures, plumbing and piping systems, residential and commercial system installations, blueprint reading and isometric interpretation.
