This online training program consists of 21 modules, or course subjects, which prepare students to work as medical transcriptionist. Numerous exercises and skill assessments throughout each module ensure students master each skill before moving on to the next concept, and knowledgeable support specialists are available to help from start to finish. Attendance at an information session is suggested, but not required.

Medical Transcription Editors are specialized transcriptionists who correct and edit audio dictation reports generated by speech recognition software.
