This course provides an introduction to event planning for athletic, recreational, entertainment, and special events. An emphasis is placed on budgeting, site selection, sponsorship, and facility management.

The course introduces the students to special event planning processes and techniques. Emphasis is on creating, organizing, identifying sponsors, marketing and implementing large community events. Spring (campus students) & odd numbered years (distance students only)
