Our ACA Certified instructors help you learn the lines through the whitewater and clue you in to the easy routes. If you prefer, a more challenging course you can practice surfing in the many class II rapids. You will have the opportunity to develop and practice some river reading skills along the way identifying eddielines and understanding stream flow dynamics. Between the rapids you will have a chance to practice your river skills and rolls.

If you’ve never kayaked before or have limited experience, this beginner kayaking course is for you. The instruction begins with our specialized "Dry Land Schoolâ€? in which we focus on the basics. This includes; equipment identification and use, paddle strokes, safety, and hazards.

The course then moves on to the river where you will spend time learning how to maneuver and master several paddle strokes. Just as you begin to get used to your boat, the river begins to move faster...
