The Violin Making and Restoration course was established in 1984. We have one of the few, full-time instrument making programs in the United States. Our three-year program prepares the graduate to enter the stringed instrument field as an apprentice repair technician. The curriculum design assumes that a solid foundation in instrument making is a prerequisite to mastering the art of instrument repair.

Central to the mission of Music Works NW, Private Instruction serves beginners to advanced level musicians, from the very young through adulthood. All are invited to study with Music Works NW’s outstanding faculty. Private, semi-private, and group lessons are available.

Lessons are scheduled for the convenience of students and faculty; lessons may be started any time during the year and tuition will be prorated.
