The course covers various aspects of law governed by the Uniform Commercial code, including sales contracts, negotiable instruments, and secured transactions. The latter subject deals with the means by which most credit in our society is structured, from large consumer transactions (for example, the purchase of a car) to multimillion-dollar loans to large corporations on the basis of their assets.
