This course explores drawing in color. Students will understand the versatility of watercolor through various exercises and will be able to formulate their own creative approach to the medium. Elements of composition and design will be discussed and different techniques will be presented to build presentation skills one step at a time. Special emphasis will be given to the selection and mixture of color.

Designed for the intermediate to advanced user, this two-day course teaches the editor how to apply Symphony specific effects like motion tracking, Ultimatte and Reformat as well as how to utilize Color Correction mode. This two-day course, designed for the intermediate user, explains how to color correct a sequence on Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro. The editor will learn how to color correct each shot in a sequence, use Avid’s internal video scopes, make sure the color and luminance are within safe broadcast limits, and create a treatment for an entire sequence.
