The Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is designed to train people to cope with basic wilderness hazards and medical emergencies and is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast who wants a more wilderness specific approach to first aid.

This course is designed for wilderness guides and instructors, rangers,
emergency response teams, and rock and ice climbing guides. Course
content includes breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and
children, identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illness, injuries,
preventing disease transmission, environmental emergencies, equipment,
supplies, and improving odds of survival.
