The Spanish program emphasizes development of the four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The program builds student proficiency in Spanish, emphasizing cultural awareness and multi-cultural preparedness. The program supports a Spanish minor focusing on acquisition of practical Spanish.

The On-line Master’s Program in Spanish is designed for students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in Spanish that may not be able to do so in an on-campus environment due to jobs and/or distance (in other parts of the US or Internationally). It is particularly suited for those that have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or other language professionals.

All courses are designed for approximately 16 hours of instruction, are available for 6 months, and include a certificate of completion when finished. The courses incorporate visual imagery (photos associated with words and phrases for better retention), native speakers to hear proper pronunciation, language tips, intuitive reading exercises, and interactive assessments to measure your progress and comprehension, and cultural lessons.
