Build upon existing Microsoft Project 2007 knowledge and learn to work with a project plan once it reaches the implementation phase including how to exchange project plan data with other applications, update project plans, create visual reports and reuse project plan information. Prerequisite: Microsoft Project 2007 Introduction.

Learn to use Microsoft Project to assist in managing projects including how to create a project plan containing tasks, organize these tasks in a work breakdown structure containing task relationships, create and assign resources and finalize the project to implement the project plan. Prerequisites: Windows Intro or equivalent knowledge and an understanding of project management concepts.

Develop an understanding of the basic concepts and applications of Project Management, including the various elements of managing both simple and complex projects in the workplace in a common sense approach. Note: This course is not part of the Project Management eight-course series

This certificate involves the controlling of the construction project. It introduces the creation of the plan and schedule to oversee the project, communication between the parties—owner/architect/subcontractor/supplier—procurement, and cost control procedures.
