Arabic is the language of the religion of Islam, and is also spoken as a native language by over 250 million people worldwide. Arabic script is used in a variety of non-Arabic languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, Kurdish and Farsi. This course focuses on the 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet. Students will learn to read, write, and pronounce these letters while building essential vocabulary for beginner’s conversation.
