This course addresses the need for risk management and mitigation in offshore projects. Coursework helps students identify inherent risks of global outsourcing, as well as examines risk areas such as technology, organizational assets, business continuity planning and global business. Students are introduced to risk analysis techniques and mitigation strategies, and then apply these to an offshore case study project.
