This course presents a structured approach to establishing a new or add-on channel of distribution. Students review characteristics of the new distribution vehicle and develop its operations. They also identify and analyze e-commerce opportunities and evaluate their potential in the marketplace. Coursework focuses on concepts and practical activities related to forecasting, scheduling, inventory planning and logistics in the form of an operational plan.
