This course is for people who already have knowledge of the French language. Taught by a native speaker, students in this class will improve their skills in French. This class is a perfect follow up for the Beginners French students.

Students learn basic French grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills through an innovative web-based, interactive classroom format. This course features one-to-one conversations with the instructor, and small-group discussions with other students using the conference program Elluminate. Assessment is by portfolio and conversations with the instructor. (4 credits)

French is an official language of twenty nine countries and of the United Nations agencies and of a number of international organizations. By learning French through this French Conversational course you will be able to read newspapers, articles, understand signs on the roads and be well versed with the language.
