This nationally recognized 3ds studio max online course and training program teaches students how to use 3ds max to design,develop, and create 3D animation. This online certificate program takes you all the way through the user interface, modeling, material-creation, animating objects, cameras and scene generation. The class will also teach the capabilities of the interface, how to work efficiently, and how to apply the toolsets in the workplace.

This course covers the basic concepts of 3D modeling and animation. Students will build a solid foundation and understanding of the basic tools of 3D software. Modeling, animation, lighting, texture mapping, and rendering are introduced in a production setting toward the goal of developing a portfolio project.

This class will focus on character animation and rendering in Maya, including Flexor animation, skinning, writing expressions and using the hardware and software rendering capabilities. Students will also write MEL scripts to gain a deeper understanding of the animation workflow in Maya. The emphasis of this course is on character animation and rendering.
