In this Adobe InDesign for iPad class, you will learn to use InDesign, in conjunction with the tools in Digital Publishing Suite, to create interactive documents, complete with media and links, for publication to iPad. This course is geared toward experienced InDesign users who are familiar with basic features, such as style sheets, image placement and document management. Students learn publishing and design fundamentals, including layout, graphic imaging and typography, and are introduced to a variety of industry-standard computer applications used in the production and presentation of print and online media. Students may choose a focus on pre-press and/or Web publishing, or may complete both the production design and Web design courses for further specialization.

Students address advanced topics in publishing and design, with an emphasis on content management, design and development processes, and creative teams. Students work with a variety of industry-standard computer applications used in the production and presentation of print and online media.
