Focuses on project based three dimensional concept design using the latest release of CAD software. Projects require the use of wireframe construction, surface modeling, solid modeling, , 3-D editing, presentation of the finished concept design throught manipulation of the 3D model, animation or optional rendering methods and 2-D extractions from the 3-D model are required. Projects are relative to certificate or degree program.

Develops a fundamental understanding of concept design using 2D and 3D drawings and pertinent design data. Materials used as well as information and design data are relative to the AAS degree emphasis or advanced applications for industry upgrade. All projects require a portfolio which will include all design data and references (including websites), sketches, support drawing and documentation.
