This course introduces the basic concepts of relational databases, data storage, and retrieval. It covers database design, data modeling, transaction processing, and introduces the Structured Query Language for databases.

Develops a fundamental understanding of concept design using 2D and 3D drawings and pertinent design data. Materials used as well as information and design data are relative to the AAS degree emphasis or advanced applications for industry upgrade. All projects require a portfolio which will include all design data and references (including websites), sketches, support drawing and documentation. The Graphic Design/Print Production emphasis within the Multimedia Graphic Design Department prepares students to work in the traditional graphic design and printing industries. Students use the computers to design for electronic production for digital and traditional press. In addition, students learn design techniques for packaging and point of sale, and other forms of print media. Printing press technology is also addressed.

This course introduces the basic components of the camera system, the application of 2:1 Interlace and Moment of Blank theories, and nine security system peripherals used to enhance the learner’s ability to design, install, and troubleshoot indoor and outdoor CCTV security systems. The basics of video resolution and video imagery are also introduced. A final assessment evaluates the learner’s comprehension of the course.

This database design training class considers all the features of building complex logical data models using sophisticated modeling techniques. Numerous "real-world" problems and special situations are presented along with solutions. Classic structures and common models are also given to assist participants in rapidly completing a data model.
