This course covers UNIX operating system and Korn shell from a user perspective. Various utilities associated with the Korn shell will be discussed, including the vi editor. The course will conclude with basic coverage of Korn shell scripting

This course is a continuation of the AIX/Unix Fundamentals class. It begins with the creation of simple, procedural scripts. Concepts of branching and loops are then added, allowing the students to create more useful programs.
