The Associate in Arts Degree in Digital Video Production provides students with specialized training to develop proficiency in advanced and professional video production. Emphasis is placed on integrating content creation with Web skills.

This program prepares students for entry-level media production positions in organizations where they will create digitized video productions for Web and other presentation forms that may be used for informational, documentary, instructional, commercial, artistic, or other purposes. The program provides instruction in all facets of video production from program design to hands-on recording through the editing process. Students also gain skills in the use of computer software applications.

The Film Video Media programs are designed for students seeking professional preparation for careers in Film, Video, and related industries. Students will be prepared for employment in the television, industrial video, network, cable, and internet production, commercial production, educational video, and feature film production industries, or for entry into graduate study programs.

The advantages of digital video can be offset by the reliance on a guard force watching monitors with limited success. Review independent findings, claims, and applications from a cross-section of manufacturers to learn about available and upcoming functionality and technology.
