This course introduces the student to the vocabulary and the grammar of sign language. Topics covered include finger-spelling, numbers, money, and time. The class also develops an understanding of the deaf community and their culture.

This course, one component of our extensive Spanish language program is designed for the individual who is interested in learning basic grammar, writing and speaking skills. This course is designed for students who have no knowledge of the Japanese language but wish to learn formal Japanese. The focus will be on building vocabulary, understanding Haragana (a phonetic alphabet) and exploring culture. Text additional.

Prerequisite: Introductory Italian or comparable experience If you have taken the introductory course or can speak a little Italian, this course will help you advance your skills. Grammar will be taught as it is needed to increase your speaking ability.
