A basic teaching of Italian grammar and pronunciation, with emphasis on simple conversation, placing the country’s history, its music, literature and art at your fingertips. This class is taught by a native speaker. Join me in this exploration: A presto!

This class will be a demonstration and some "hands-on" participation. Italian cuisine is more than red sauce and garlic. Simple, elegant meals for family and friends will be demonstrated as well as timing, ease of preparation and planning.

Italian is one of the Romance languages. It resembles Latin in terms of vocabulary and is Italian is also written using the Latin alphabet. It has a distinctive stress and retains the contrast between short and long consonants which was present in Latin. The Italian course will teach you the basic rules, words, grammars and help you speak Italian fast and fluently.
