The night rating is perhaps the most enjoyable rating any aviator can achieve, and the one with the least required training time. |
Flight Instructor (FI) Format: On-site School: Aviator College of Aeronautical Science & Technology Venue: Fort Pierce Tel.: 1-800-635-9032 The FI course consists of 30 hours of flying, as well as 128 hours of briefing, classroom practice, and directed study. A number of progress tests are integrated in the course schedule to assess the instructors ability and aptitude, making lenghty remedial training unneccessary. Upon course completion, a flight test and a briefing test must be passed. These tests are taken at EFTs USA facility, and are scheduled in advance, although you can make your own testing arrangements.

At EFT, all of this training is always completed in aeroplanes, rather than in flight simulators or synthetic flight training devices which can never replace the experience and quality of teaching in an actual aeroplane.
